Citing “changes in market conditions”, China’s Focus Media which is the largest digital media group in the mainland, had decided to terminate its wireless advertising business and revise their prices.
It seems the global financial turmoil wasn’t spared and the slumping China economy saw Focus Media saw its online advertising spending and business slowing after the Beijing Olympics.
Focus Media has just finalized their restructuring plan for their CGEN in-store advertising business to focus on their more profitable businesses.
