If you’re a newbie to websites or just couldn’t afford to pay for paid traffic using Yahoo Publisher or Google AdWords, don’t fret, here’s a few insightful tips that might help you out.
Firstly I would submit articles to my account at Ezine Articles. It is a free submission site to send articles you wrote. Ezine Articles is a highly ranked site, and Google loves it. So once Google indexed that article and if you happen to write an article related to a high ranked keyword phrases, expect free traffic from Google. The more articles you write, more traffic you’ll get.
Get hooked onto a viral video marketing phenomenon. It’s undeniable that users loves something that visually pleasing and informative. Create a video and upload it to various video sharing websites. Make the title, tags and descriptions catchy but never misleading. Yes Google do index videos these days.
Another tip is to have a blog sitemap that will be submitted automatically to Google or request the bots to fetch your sitemap information. Basically sitemap is a file with all your articles link, description and tags in it.
Many CMS such as WordPress had add-on plugins that help in making these sitemaps and creating the description and tags. Google loves sitemap, once it indexes such, you’ll be added to the search engine faster than the rest who doesn’t have sitemaps. Again expect lotsa traffic.
