It seems going from current figures, the global advertising spending will be far worse than that of 90’s recession.
It will fall 0.2% next year in 2009 overall.
Zenith Optimedia had made such predicted figure at the annual ‘UBS media conference’ in New York.
The industry forecaster however has good news, as they predict Internet ad spending will grow by 16.8%, while traditional advertising medium such as newspaper will have a 3.6% cut and TV down by 3%.
USA advertising market is expected to fall 5.7% while Western Europe to suffer an overall 1% drop but UK advertising spending it to register a 1% increase.
