Basically this how a PPC model works if you’re clueless. You as the PPC advertiser pay for every click a user clicks on these ad links of yours that appears on search engines or sites you’re advertising at.

So in a way, its a way of getting traffic via payment, but you must remember that traffic must be of ‘quality’, so as to have a form of profit conversion. This is to make up and not just break even, for every advertising dollar that you’ve spent.

Do you know your product?

Before writing that PPC ad, you must know your product first before you can start doing the copywriting, or as I call it ‘bullshitting’. What are the great things about your product, business or services that makes it far much better and unique that anyone else. Focus on the good points and try not to oversell it.

What is your budget?

Always go into PPC campaign with a budget in mind. Don’t go half-hearted or unsure about the financial planning as it matters a lot. Know when to cut your losses and how much to bid. For me, I’ve always stayed within 5-10% of the budget if I were to ever exceed.

Bid the ‘right’ keywords

These days I look for keywords that are in the longtail. Shortail keywords has its effectiveness but your budget will run dry fast as its expensive. I’m doing my advertising for the long run, thus the longtail keyword. That’s my recommendation, yours can vary of course. Just make sure, the bottomline is to stay within the top position of placement at search engines.

How to find the ‘right’ keywords

I usually use Google Keyword Tool. That’s all I need. I do a search on generic keyword first. When the results are in, I would filter it by volume of search. Then I would proceed to picking up a few longtail keywords. From there I generate few multiple ads. Run these and from the findings, those ad with most ROI and excels well, I would use that ad as a final choice. A few tune-up and tweaks on that final ad, next thing you know, your ROI is off the roof!

Summary

So there you go, my steps in making a successful PPC advertising campaign. It’s all about trial and error. There’s no right or wrong, just you and the PPC. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Just keep on trying. Another tip is to use this Easy Cash PPC system which I used to kickstart my AdWords campaign.

Offer your business services as part of a raffle prize at charity functions. What you want is free exposure and publicity. Nothing beats the spread of word-of-mouth.

I would also post my business services at community bulletin boards. You can even put it up at boards in supermarket as wells.

At times I would also get permission from business owners and friends who have restaurant and business to distribute my photocopy fliers of my business. I would pay some kid to hand these out.

Another way is to give out my business card even to bartender, waiter and maids at hotels I stay in. You just never know. A card cost less than few pennies for me, but the potential returns is invaluable.

So that’s a few tips on free advertising, hope it helps out in your very own cause to get more publicity.

Oh yah not to forget, I also dabble in ezine advertising. I got my ads on millions of newsletters for a fraction of the cost.

Other than the online growing various Internet advertising currently available, I find that advertisers lack the same authority which they have online. This is because they didn’t tackle the offline advertising medium.

Classifieds advertising be it free or paid are still a great way to promote your business.

If you have been living in a cave, the concept is basically using textual printed ads in newspaper or magazine to find customers, and these potential clients seeks or solicit your ad for services and opportunities.

Simple right … but not many Internet business owners I know actually does this.

Usually for me I would start by getting my ads in the classifieds by targeting my niche of area first. I lookup and read up on newspaper or magazines that is likely fits my customer demographics.

Then once found the right few options, seek the right category of ad to be place in it. Some paid classifieds offer higher ad visibility if there was a small payment.

I recommend you to opt for it. I find my ROI is higher with that few dollars spent.

The thing about offline advertising of classified ads is that you have the option to use ad submission service, that will send out your ads to thousands of ad sites out there for a nominal fee.

Again another recommendation. Use that time instead to focus on your business rather than hunting down ads space.

Also have a few variation of ads type. Over time I found a certain ad works best for one campaign and it doesn’t for another. So its still trial and error like the usual advertising tactics.

So good luck in your classifieds advertising, may your return on the advertising dollars spent is well worth it.

Ok class here’s a introduction tutorial to pay per click

In short if you want traffic, pay per click advertising is the way to go.

On a daily basis, millions of searches are done on the Internet.

If your website are not able to rank high organically in search engines, may it be because your site is new or you’re not doing your SEO tactics right, then do employ pay per click advertising.

You ads will appear on the related keyword searches. If you input in your ad to be displayed when someone tries to find a certain keyword, then your ad will appear on Page 1 or 2 or perhaps 5.

The top rankings, where Page 1 is preferred, depends on how much you bid for that keyword. The highest bidder will appear on the top listing of such keyword searches.

The aim for PPC advertiser is to find the perfect balance of not spending too much but getting a high return of investment (ROI).

That is where your sales copy skills, great ad title & description plus landing pages comes in.

It’s a learning skill, a bit steep in the learning curve, but once you get the hang of the basics, the rest just comes into the picture.

My advice is to be specifics in your ad campaign. I learn that the more narrow I am to target my market niche, I get successful returns on my advertising invested dollars.

So is pay per click advertising for you? Yes it should be, for everyone!

If you want to double your CTR for your ad campaign, then you should opt for buying eBooks tutorials or do relevant searches online.

How about making an eBook about advertising guide. The detailed steps and case study of advertising, for other advertisers and clients to use and refer.

First step is to do your research. Compile an eBook from the various data collected on the Internet on how businesses does their advertising. Add also to the success rate of their method of advertising.

Now once all compiled, publish it online with ease of access to download and distribute it.

Also state on the webpage, its an ever evolving eBook, any additions or correction to it is welcomed. This will entice users to join in and spread the word of your eBook even more.

Such collaboration will only grow and so does your traffic. The main idea is being unique and find a niche you’re good at and build on that authority.

Clueless on how to write your own ebook. Follow the earlier link provided. Good Luck!

Branding is one way to be effective in your advertising. If your brand comes across as recognizable visual that immediately spark an association to your business than, the branding is successful.

To get a good branding campaign ensure that your logo is consistent. Meaning it is found on all your company’s product, signs, letters to business card. You need to start at ground level, with your staff.

Make sure the logo is simple. Yes use K.I.S.S, acronym for Keep it short and sweet. People tend to over-complicate things, so the simplest things usually get the message across.

Employ a professional designer to design the logo. Request for it to stand out yet also be K.I.S.S as earlier mentioned.

Also the designer should use your company colors. If you don’t have one, your business should. We all recall red and yellow for McDonald’s and orange for TNT colors right?

Besides the logo, the motto should be catchy and interesting. Usually a few ‘wise’ words would do the trick. Your marketing campaign should cover this area. If you’re on a budget, well your business could come up with your own.

Aside from the earlier branding methods, one method to spread the word is the good old fashion way; through your customers.

When you provide good service, they will reciprocate the excellent services by recommending to their friends. Don’t underestimate the power of word-of-mouth.

These are a few marketers secret weapon in advertising that will help to bring your business value and success. The perception of your company is as good as how much you invest in your branding.

To have an effective banner advertising campaign, you need an effective design. Unlike textual ad advertising, keyword and sales copy rule the success factor, but banner advertising, you need the right kind of design.

Your banners shouldn’t be loud and annoying. That’s my personal take on banner designs. After years working on graphics, sometimes a subtle banner might get more ROI than a loud one.

My advice is to visit popular giants site and view some of the banners they’re displaying. Some site even provide conversion rates to the banners under the advertising page. You need to visit that to learn which banners works best.

The main thing is to make the banner in such a way that users want to click it. Add related graphics or nifty one-liner text in the ads to get their attention and arouse their curiosity.

Also I find that bigger sized banner does better than a smaller one. Yes it used to be 468×60 sized ads ruled the Internet landscape when banner advertising came to prominent. But these days the sizes can vary. The bigger it is, the better conversion.

When running a banner advertising campaign, similar to textual ad campaign, have several variation of the ads ready. Test which one works best and stick with it once you’re finalized the one that brings about the most CTR and CPA.

Also get to have the right ad placement. Most successful ad campaign I know place the ads above the fold. If the ads is not within the viewable eye range once the website loads, then the conversion rates decreased by 50%.

So I hope these are helpful advise on banner advertising and do try ClickBank Ad Rotator. I had great success with it earning over $100 in just a week.

Internet advertising sales is set to explode in the next few years with a projected 14% growth or some $12 billions of advertising money out there being bought and sold.

So being the client your money will be part of that and you’re thinking of ways to reduce advertising cost? Well you can do so by negotiating a better advertising buy of course.

Oh yes, not known to many is that you can actually negotiate and thus lead to more profit margin and saving cost for you!

I usually would prepare a list of to-do and questions before meeting my media salesperson. The questions revolve around my business and its objective for the advertising campaign. Always come prepared I’d say.

I find that most people don’t listen enough. And that translate not having enough information to be alert to possibilities. Listen first to your salesperson when they’re presenting. Assess if that’s what your business needs.

When the proposal has been presented, do not straightaway give your judgment, delay that and think of the proposal. Don’t be afraid to think about it overnight. Don’t commit to anything yet.

Once you’ve done with thinking over the proposal, return to the salesperson. Ensure all your business needs and options are covered by the proposal. If not then this is the time to ask for some changes.

Once you’re satisfied with the changes, this is about the right time to negotiate.

Usually the company who are about to close the deal just wants to get the process over and done. So when you asked for a negotiation, more than likely they will accommodate your request.

With the above negotiation tips, I was able to buy great advertising deals for my home business. I totally made a fortune and had great savings too!

The ‘trick’ for Pay Per Click advertising is to get quality traffic which returns potential customers while paying a minimum amount for the click campaign. Want to know how to do it successfully?

Well more or less here’s a short guide, but of course you need to do the tweaking here and there, plus updating yourself on the latest development in PPC as current search engines algorithms keeps changing.

To get a true consistent trend in your earnings, the most important aspect is always updating your account settings with the right variables so as to target the ‘right’ audience you’re seeking.

The variables such as how your ad is worded or poor sales copy pages will likely result in poor campaigns. You may be getting the traffic alright, but it is not probably converting into sales. Or you might not even get any traffic at all!

And to think you’re paying for such campaign that are ‘leaking’ money.

Always always always keep track of algorithm updates. I would usually sign up to a good PPC learning program that has Search engine updates. This will aid in your tracking the latest changes and unnecessarily paying for irrelevant traffic.

Such learning programs also allows me to tweak my campaign as the data allows for optimum optimization, by hitting the right keyword at low cost.

Also aside from the campaign at hand, your landing pages should have relevant information. Put the right keywords and sales copy should be enticing or you’ll be penalized for poor quality score.

Well good luck in your PPC advertising. I do recommend PPC Bully as I had great conversion and great quality score after reading and learning it.

Did you know that there is morons out there who uses paid for clicking services to inflate their click through rates (CTR) of the ads they displayed on their site.

By doing so, the person will earn more dollars per month from the increase in clicks, but in return the advertisers won’t get quality visitors that will translate into potential customers.

This is one of the major problems for Pay Per Click advertising companies, where its so hard to catch these people who try to ‘game’ the system. Of course there’s current measures being implemented, but it is still flawed and not ‘perfect’.

For example, Pay Per Click advertising companies can detect the unique I.P. that does the clicking. If too many clicks is detected from one single source of I.P., the publisher is denied that clicks.

But of course the downside is that it deprives the publisher of click profits by multiple users under a network using the static I.P. Clicking Services has also become advanced by masking and changing their I.P. accordingly to trick the advertising analytic algorithms.

Another way Pay Per Click advertising companies detect such errant clicks is by keeping track of clicks surges. Usually such surges means that this is not a normal means of clicking for that particular site.

Of course it could also mean that site could just become popular overnight and the surge in readers are clicking the ads. Again another grey area here.

So as Pay Per Click advertising companies set to tune and work even further on their algorithms to detect such frauds clicks, more and more people are jumping on the bandwagon trying to earn more money by using paid clicking services.

This is of course ruining the bottomline for all legit publisher and it has led to Pay Per Click advertising companies offering to flat-fee services.

Well I can only hope the ‘battle’ with fraud clicks will be won by Pay Per Click advertising companies at the end of the day, as I don’t want to share my profit with such deceptive publishers.
